Milo Plastering LLC ("we", "our", "us") operates the Milo Plastering mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and role within the organization (worker, foreman, or admin).

Location Data: The App collects your device's GPS location while you are clocked in to a job site. This is used for geofencing to verify your presence at assigned work locations. Location tracking runs in the background while you are clocked in and stops when you clock out. Location data is not collected when you are not clocked in.

Camera and Photos: The App accesses your device's camera to take PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) verification photos for daily safety compliance and project progress photos. Photos are uploaded to our secure cloud storage.

Biometric Data: If you choose to enable biometric login (fingerprint or Face ID), your biometric data is processed locally on your device using your device's built-in authentication system. We do not collect, store, or transmit any biometric data to our servers.

Time and Attendance Data: The App records your clock-in times, clock-out times, break durations, and overtime hours for payroll and compliance purposes.

Work Data: This includes safety sheet responses, daily progress reports, quality control checks, materials used, expense reports, and task completion data.

How We Use Your Information

• To manage job site operations, safety compliance, and daily work tracking

• To verify worker presence at assigned job sites via geofencing

• To process timesheets and payroll

• To ensure compliance with OSHA safety requirements

• To generate reports for project management

• To send you work-related notifications and reminders

• To authenticate your identity when signing in to the App

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, which provides encryption in transit and at rest. Access to data is restricted based on your role within the organization. Workers can only access their own data. Foremen can access data for their assigned crew. Administrators have full access for management purposes.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is only accessible to authorized personnel within Milo Plastering LLC for operational purposes. We may use the following third-party services to operate the App:

• Google Firebase: For authentication, data storage, and cloud functions

• Anthropic Claude API: For AI-powered PPE photo verification (photos are processed and not stored by the AI service)

• Expo / EAS: For app updates and push notifications

Data Retention

We retain your work-related data (timesheets, safety forms, progress reports) for the duration required by applicable labor and safety regulations. Account information is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you

• Request correction of inaccurate data

• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)

• Disable biometric login at any time through the App's settings

• Revoke location permissions through your device settings

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated policy within the App and updating the "Last updated" date above.
